Christmas Snowman and Transition Decor

One of the hardest things about this time of year is the thought of putting the lights and colors of Christmas behind us. Somehow Christmas will be over, but winter is not. My home always looks so empty without all of the Christmas decorations. So this year, I have been focusing on finding transitional decor that is not outwardly Christmasy but yet still winter appropriate. One of these items is Christmas snowman decor.

Thanks to Frosty, the snowman is inextricably linked to Christmas. However, snowmen are just as appropriate in January as they are in December. Snowmen are bright cheerful decorations that make you smile. Just what we need on those cold dark January days.

Even if you don’t have snow on the ground, snowman wall decor and accessories will brighten the inside of your home. If snowmen are not your thing, look for other winter items in your Christmas collection that don’t scream holiday. Other favorites that I will be keeping on display is my rustic wreath and some wintery Christmas wall decor.
