And just like that September is over. Determined to live more in the present, I made great strides in embracing the blue and brown hues of September instead of rushing into the oranges and yellows of October. You can see how these efforts came to fruition in our Fall Garden and French Country Kitchen posts. I was also thrilled to contribute to an article on Outdoor Looks that Are Trending with our blue and white garden pottery. But now, I am very excited to embrace the boldness of October hues.
This month is fun as brightly colored pumpkins and leaves can be layered onto our September decor. October is a month where decor complements rather than replaces. Throughout the month, I will give you examples of how you can do this both inside and out. As always, I will include a mix of products, crafts, recipes, and activities to make the most of our yellow and orange theme colors. Camus best summed up the season by saying “Autumn is a second spring, when every leaf is a flower.” Here are some photos to inspire your October creativity. Happy October!
