I love the beginning of a new month as it signifies a fresh start. For many, September is the start of a new school year, the start of fall, the start of new flowers and of new vegetables. And there is no better way to get in the mood of a season than to surround yourself with new seasonal fall decor.
It can be tempting to race into all this newness with full fall fashions, style, and home accessories. However, if I have learned anything during this pandemic, it is that I need to embrace each moment instead of always racing to the future.
This September, I am challenging myself to use early fall decor with the purple, rose, yellow, and blue hues of September rather than leaping straight to the oranges, and reds of October and November. Inspiration is all around and I’m excited to mix some of the last hints of summer pastels with the warm neutrals of wheat and natural grasses. I hope this inspiration board inspires your creativity as much as it has mine. Happy September.
