If I attached a color to January, it would be winter white. Much of the countryside is coated in white, the blue skies give way to white days, and all of the plants slumber in wait of spring. I also think of winter white on an emotional level. In January, Christmas decorations are tucked away, another year ended, and we start a fresh year with a white slate.
I am never in a hurry to fill a blank canvas. Instead I stare at it and imagine all of the possibilities. I am always inspired by my surroundings so I indulge in winter white decor, apparel, and florals to remind myself of my fresh start. I hope that these images and decor ideas are equally inspiring to you. Embrace your winter white days and find inspiration from them. Happy new year and best wishes for a year of joy, beauty, and friendship.
